Editor, writer, news junkie.
I’ve been working in digital media since my first internship at Paper magazine’s website in 1999, when new media was beginning to thrive. When boom became bust, I freelanced while earning a master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from New York University in 2004. I’ve written everything from restaurant reviews and news stories to profiles and feature articles on personal finance, entertainment, women’s health, beauty and love and sex.
After graduate school I worked as a health editor for close to 10 years becoming an expert at content development and strategy, website launches and redesigns, and working on substantial marketing campaigns and advertiser-sponsored projects.
In the off hours I work with a nonprofit mentoring organization for teen writers. I also love to travel, read, cook, and I’m a music and movie fan.
