I began my journalism career when digital media was beginning to thrive. I spent 20 years working for a mix of small startups and bigger companies, like Scout Electromedia, Everyday Health, NBCUniversal, and The Daily Gazette, where I built the newspaper’s first digital department. I oversaw the development of a new content management system for The Daily Gazette and led an award-winning website redesign. Working with a team of digital editors and the newspaper’s editor, I implemented digital content and social media strategies that expanded the Gazette’s audience and exploded its social media following and engagement.
Starting out as a nightlife editor and writer in the heyday of the early aughts dot.com boom, I later moved to a startup company as a health & lifestyle editor, which set me on the path to becoming an expert in content development, strategy, and website design.
I currently work with businesses to provide best-in-class editorial copy for digital and print products, as well as web design.
